The society’s AGM will take place on Thursday 9th March at 8pm in the Slane Youth Club building on Chapel St., Slane.
There will also be a talk “The Rathkenny Murdrers ” to be given by local historian Mary Cullen. These events took place in the 1830s and should be of great interest to all those who are searching for items of local history.
