Professor Seán Duffy, of TCD, one of Ireland’s foremost medieval historians spoke on “The battle of Clontarf and Brian Boru” on Wed. 30th April. His excellent presentaion marked the millennium anniversary of this battle which was fought on Good Friday, 1014. Professor Duffy is the author of many books including the recently published and highly acclaimed “Brian Boru .and the battle of Clontarf”.
