A very enjoyable evening was spent in Collon House. Built in 1740 Collon house was the home of Anthony Foster. His son, John, “Speaker” Foster was the last speaker of the Irish House of Commons. The house is now nicely renovated and tastefully refurbished. It is presently used as a guest house.
