November & December outings

1.  Cider Tasting and Talk on old Irish furniture:

     Mark Jenkinson will be our host in his orchard in Stackallen  on Saturday afternoon when he will explain

     his cider making and offer us a tasting. He will also give us the history of Irish and local apple trees. 

     Then he will bring us to see his extensive collection of old locally made furniture.

           This tour costs 15 euro per person , we will meet at the carpark, Chapel St., Slane at 2.30pm  and you can follow those who know

       the way to his orchard.

   2. Christmas in Slane:

 For our Christmas event, we have booked the Gandon Room in Slane Castle on Friday 15th December at 8pm.

         They offer a delicious menu, 3 courses 40 euro,      2 courses 35 euro.
