The Chaiman Mr Eddie Fleming will give a talk on King George IV s visit to Ireland and Slane in 1821.

Slane History & Archaeology Society’s 25th Anniversary

All present and former members of Slane History & Archaeology Society are invited to a celebratory event on Sunday 24th Nov. 2019 to commemorate twenty five years of happy and fruitful work.

Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church Slane on Sunday 24th Nov. at 11am for all deceased members of the Society. Family members are invited to attend. In the afternoon at 3pm in the Conyngham Arms hotel entertainment and refreshments will be provided . Some activities of the past in which members were involved will be recounted and viewed with a Powerpoint presentation.

Please let us know by ringing 0894299719 before 20th Nov. if you hope to attend the function in the hotel as we need to know for catering purposes. We look forward to seeing you all again.
